Indigenous Travel Grant

Deadline - 30 September 2024

Are you an Indigenous Australian studying about or managing waterways, including wetlands or freshwater places? Would like to share your work and waterways knowledge with others?

The Australian Freshwater Science Society (AFSS) focuses on learning about and managing inland waters including wetlands, rivers and streams. Every year AFSS holds a conference to help the Australian community share knowledge about managing these freshwater places.

This grant is to help Indigenous Australians to attend the annual AFSS conference. The funding will fully or partially cover travel, accommodation, conference registration and membership to AFSS.

This is an opportunity to gain leadership skills, network with other wetland workers, share your knowledge, inspire others, learn from others, and see new places.
