We would like to thank everyone that attended the 58th annual Australian Freshwater Sciences Society (AFSS) (formerly the Australian Society for Limnology) congress, that ran at the Stamford Grand Glenelg, SA from 23-28 September, 2018.

Freshwater Science is key to understanding and managing our rivers, lakes and wetlands globally, providing for their many uses as well as supporting functional, healthy ecosystems for generations to enjoy.

The Australian Freshwater Sciences Society congress brings together experts from across Australia and around the world in all disciplines of Freshwater Science, presenting the most up to date research, management and policy initiatives. The scientific program will be based around the theme Freshwater Science Making a Difference: Innovation, Implementation and Communication.  The Conference will be of interest to a wide range of scientists, managers and communicators.

Thank you again to everyone who made the conference a success! We look forward to seeing you in Victoria in 2019!
